4-eyes review

Maker-checker data authorization, also known as the "four-eyes principle," is a flow where one of your compliance officers (the maker) processes the case, and a second one (the checker) reviews and approves their actions before they come into force and the case is finalized.

Such an approach enforces a strict separation of duties and minimizes human errors and potential data discrepancies before the information takes effect.

How 4-eyes review works

The 4-eyes review is a part of case routing settings.

  1. You create the Checker blueprint that gives the selected officer an exclusive right to review, approve, or clear any or all the actions you performed on a case.

  2. You create the Maker blueprint that automatically sends the cases to the Checker queue.
You review the case and submit it for approval.

  3. The checker analyzes your actions and finalizes the case.

All the actions and their approvals/rejections are displayed in the case page and the Majestic overview dashboard.
