It works by either asking the user to submit a few unique identifiable elements, which are used to instantly extract their complete address information, or by matching their detailed residency data against one or two authoritative sources. The result enables Sumsub’s clients to simplify and speed up their customers onboarding processes, while simultaneously keeping operational costs at a minimum.
The overall solution helps regulated organizations meet their regulatory compliance requirements on verifying customer residency data against authoritative sources and determining both the legitimacy as well as liveness of their identity. At the same time, it helps optimize traditional address verification methods by increasing customer conversion rates up to 85%, minimizing the processing time to an average of 4.5 seconds, and reducing all operational efforts required for manual document reviews.
