MSDK updates policy
The Sumsub clients are required to update the SDK promptly.
In our continuous effort to ensure the highest standards of security and performance, we have revised our policy to address the evolving threats posed by malicious actors who constantly devise new fraud techniques.
Key provisions
The present policy is a proactive step towards maintaining a secure and robust digital ecosystem for our clients. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in adhering to the guidelines below:
- Each version of the MSDK is supported for one year from its release date. For example, version 1.29, which was released on December 22, 2023, will be available and supported until December 22, 2024.
- Starting September 1, 2024, all MSDK versions older than version 1.29, released in December 2023, will be deprecated and removed from our repositories.
- Deprecated versions can not be used to create new versions of client applications using the Sumsub MSDK.
Implications for clients
The Sumsub clients must ensure that their applications are updated to a supported version of the SDK before the older versions are deprecated.
We recommend planning for SDK updates well before the deprecation dates to ensure a smooth transition.
Failure to update to a current version may result in compatibility issues and a lack of support for the application.
Our team is committed to assisting our clients through this transition. Should you have any queries or require technical support, please do not hesitate to contact us.
