Cross-check Rule Builder is an LLM-powered feature in Summy AI Copilot that lets you create, test, and review cross-check presets using natural language — no manual rule configuration required.

Build cross-check presets with Summy AI

To create a data preset:

1. In the Dashboard, navigate to Summy AI Copilot.
2. Select the + icon in the message composer and click Cross-check Rule Builder.
3. Enter a creation request with all relevant details — comparison rules, conditions, and expected outcome.
4. Wait a few seconds for Summy's reply, which includes a preview card showing the resulting rule(s). Follow the card's link to open the preset in the Data Comparison editor, where the relevant rule is highlighted and scrolled into view.
5. Verify settings before use.

Review and edit presets with Summy AI

You can also edit existing cross-check rules with Summy AI.

To update a preset:

1. In the Dashboard, navigate to Summy AI Copilot.
2. Select the + icon in the message composer and click Cross-check Rule Builder.
3. Ask Summy AI to review or adjust an existing preset
4. From the preview card, open the preset editor, or browse cross-check presets in the Data Comparison tab.
5. Edit the rule and save your changes.
