To generate an overview, Sumsub analyzes the applicant profile — pulling data from background checks, settings, and verification logs — and uses external large language models to produce a readable summary.

Accessing applicant overview

Overview by Summy AI is available to all Sumsub clients at no cost, along with other AI-powered features such as AI Copilot and case summaries.

To generate an overview, open any applicant profile and click Generate overview at the top of the page.

Once generated, click Continue in Summy AI Copilot to carry the overview into the chat. Summy opens a new conversation with the overview in context and the Applicant explanation skill pre-selected. You can remove the skill tag at any time to ask about something else.
