AllDocs Verification

Use AllDocs to confirm that the documents are rightfully owned by your applicants.

AllDocs is a versatile document processing solution that allows you to request and collect a wide range of document types from applicants, such as source of funds, educational certificates, and more. With AllDocs, your verification flow is streamlined through automated data extraction, document type identification, and cross-checking of the information with the applicant's profile. The AllDocs solution ensures a reliable and efficient verification process while supporting all languages for seamless global functionality.

Document types processed by AllDocs

AllDocs is designed to handle a wide variety of document types that support different business goals. The system extracts key data points and performs cross-checks to ensure consistency and validity. Common use cases include:

  • Source of Funds (SoF) documents: bank statements, payslips, tax returns, and other documents that confirm the origin of an applicant’s funds.
  • Proof of education or certifications: diplomas, degrees, and course completion certificates.
  • Employment history records: employment contracts or payroll records.
  • Refugee documents: asylum registration confirmation, refugee travel document, residence permit or temporary protection card.
  • Non-text image evidence: images that provide visual signals for verification when text is absent or insufficient (for instance, extracting car model and car body type from a vehicle photo).
  • Custom document types: tailor-made templates based on your specific compliance or onboarding needs.

Additionally, AllDocs supports verification of any non-ID document as a custom type, including various legal, financial, and administrative documents, such as death certificates, marriage licenses, insurance policies, and court records. These documents can be onboarded using configurable templates that support automated data extraction, document type recognition, and validation workflows.

How AllDocs Verification works

The AllDocs solution is based upon using Questionnaires; just a few simple steps are included in the process:

  1. Applicants provide the required documents using a questionnaire that is extended with an AllDocs preset.
  2. The system analyzes each document, extracts the data as specified in the settings, and cross-checks it according to the implemented rules. When an applicant submits a document as a PDF, AllDocs extracts data from up to the first 10 pages. Content on later pages is not processed. If your document type requires all relevant data to be captured, make sure it appears within the first 10 pages.
  3. The verification results are shown in the applicant profile.

Data cross-check

In addition to collecting the data, the AllDocs solution provides the ability to set up data cross-checks against other sources, such as the answers given by applicants while answering the questionnaire, uploaded ID and PoA documents, and other variables of interest.

Info

You can request any preset configuration according to your particular business scenario by contacting your Customer Success Manager or configuring a custom preset.

Configure custom preset

To process custom document types, you can configure a custom preset:

  1. In the Dashboard, navigate to Integrations and open the Global settings section.
  2. Go to User Verification and open the AllDocs tab.
  3. Click the Create template button and select an option:
    • Use a pre-built template — Customize an existing template from the list to meet your requirements.
    • Create from scratch — Use this option to define all data fields yourself and create your own template.
  4. In the General section, specify the following:
    1. In the Template name field, provide a name for the template.
    2. In the ID for API integration field, enter a unique ID for this template. This field cannot be changed once created.
    3. In the Document recognition instruction field, add a short description to help the AI recognize this document type.
    4. Enable the Review the document for tampering detection checkbox to add an extra authenticity check on top of standard recognition. If you do not see this option, contact your Customer Success Manager to enable it for your account.
    5. Enable the Automatic decline of screenshots checkbox to automatically detect and decline screenshots submitted instead of a real scan or photo of the document.
  5. Click Add new field to add a field to your template. You can add as many fields as you need. If you choose to use a pre-built template, there will already be fields created — you can click Edit to customize them.
  6. Specify the following data for the field and click Apply changes:
    1. Field extraction instruction — provide a short description for the field to help the AI understand what type of information should be extracted from the document.
    2. Field name — specify the name for the information you want to extract.
    3. API name — create a technical name for this field to access it through API integrations.
    4. [Optional] Description — add additional information about the field if needed.
    5. Data type — from the dropdown list, select the data type for this field:
      1. String — plain text.
      2. Numeric — numbers only.
      3. Date — a calendar date.
      4. Boolean — a Yes/No value (for example, does a bank statement show a negative balance); unclear or conflicting answers are marked as uncertain.
  7. Configure all relevant data fields for extraction and cross-checking in your template.
  8. Click Create template.

Alternatively, you can upload your template manually. To do so, click the Import template button in the AllDocs tab, paste the data into the pop-up window, and click Import.

Automatically create preset

In addition to manual preset creation, AllDocs supports building your own templates from the uploaded images in just one step. If you have the requested document examples, you can skip the manual fields setup. The system will analyze your files and generate a template based on the recognized data.

To automatically create a template:

  1. In the Dashboard, navigate to the Integrations and open Global settings section.
  2. Go to the User Verification and open the AllDocs tab.
  3. Select Build template from samples from the menu.
  4. Upload up to 3 sample files. You can upload sample images in different formats, but they all should contain the same document type.
  5. Check the generated template and edit it if needed.
