About WebSDK

Sumsub’s WebSDK (Software Development Kit for web applications) is a set of tools that helps you integrate specific features into your websites or web applications with minimal coding. Without WebSDK, the integration process becomes much harder, as you need to manually build and test every part of the solution. Instead of creating required tools from scratch, you can configure our WebSDK to fit your particular workflow.

How Sumsub WebSDK works

Our WebSDK allows you to verify applicants on your website or web application using a built-in Sumsub widget that you can customize based on your preferences. Your applicants go through all verification steps, while Sumsub handles every stage by collecting, processing, and verifying all the provided data and documents. Once the verification is complete, you receive a final status update on the process.

The WebSDK solution is designed to optimize your conversion rates and ensure a smooth integration, with attention to detail at every step.

Sumsub WebSDK features

Apart from orchestrating the entire verification process in a user-friendly interface that will handle all the stages—from uploading the data to processing it and generating the results—the WebSDK also allows you to:

  • Customize colors and styles to display your verification flows exactly as you want them to be for your applicants. The design is also adaptive and mobile friendly, making it easy to use on any device, especially with WebSDK 2.0.
  • Use Liveness & Face match to improve conversion rates and minimize fraud.
  • Guide your applicants through verification using hints and suggestions at each step.
  • Let your applicants continue verification on mobile devices at any step, for example when they need to take a picture of the document or pass the Liveness check.
