November 2025
This November, we’ve improved key areas across our platform. AML Screening now supports archived matches for ongoing monitoring, while Travel Rule introduces Umbrella VASP compliance for enhanced transaction management. Business Verification has been enriched with new checks and features, improving both the verification process and its outcomes.
November 3 -> November 7
AML Screening
Archived matches for Ongoing AML Monitoring
The update history for applicants has been reworked to provide a complete list of changes. Now, each time an AML update is received, the previous version of the match will be archived and marked with the Archived tag.
Important notes:
- By default, archived matches are hidden. You can view them by enabling the Show archived matches filter.
- Archived matches are read-only and can be found on both the applicant page and in AML reports.
Case Management
Dedicated working space in Case Management
The Overview tab has been added to Case Management to enhance the handling of investigations.
Key features:
- Display of work load, progress, open cases in Blueprints, and statistics for cases closed on the current day
- List of cases with generated STR reports, serving as a reminder for filing reports
- Links attached to all cases shown on the page, offering shortcuts to investigations
SDK
Mobile SDK updates
Integrate with Mobile SDK ->Business Verification
Companies' associated parties cross-check
A new automatic cross-check can now be performed for company officials when retrieving information from a registry source.
This check ensures that all individuals are properly declared and that the provided information matches the company data in the registry. If not, the company will be marked with the Associated party data mismatch risk label.
Important notes:
- In Auto KYB mode the company receives the Resubmission requested status accompanied with the Control structure is not established and Ownership structure is not established reasons.
- In the case of Full KYB, rejections are handled by the Manual Compliance team.
New logic: company approval after beneficiaries rejection
If a company was rejected solely due to the rejection of an associated person, and that person is later approved, Sumsub will automatically approve the company as well—unless there are other rejection reasons.
New button and API method: sending notifications for all pending applicants
We've implemented features to remind parties in the company structure to complete their verification process:
- Remind all pending applicants button on the WebSDK final screen
- API method

User Verification
Question randomization in Questionnaire
You can now configure questionnaire sections so that questions for applicants are selected randomly.

Umbrella VASP compliance
Sumsub now supports the Umbrella VASP structure, which is essential for Travel Rule compliance, linking all subsidiaries under a single parent VASP.
How it works:
Umbrella VASP enables connection of multiple entities under a single VASP, simplifying transaction management. Even if an originator (end user) is unable to identify a specific entity, the transaction will be routed correctly to the appropriate VASP within the parent-subsidiary system.

Dashboard
New level type selector
We have introduced a new modal window for selecting the verification level type. When you click New level, the window will appear and allow you to choose between Standard and Applicant Actions.
Additionally, we have removed some level settings for actions, so the configurations will be cleaner and easier to manage.
Configure verification levels ->Adjustments to Personal Info module
The Personal Info section now has a fresh look: cleaner, more intuitive, and space-efficient.
What’s new:
- Streamlined layout with better structure and readability
- Clearer explanations and tooltips
- Clutter-free editing in a drawer
Removal of Check regulations button
From now on, the system will automatically perform regulation checks and verify compliance when you click the Approve button. No additional action is required.
New column: Linked to company
We have improved the applicant list filtering — you can now enable a new column that shows whether an individual applicant is associated with a company.
Billing menu updates
A few adjustments have been made to the Billing menu to make the data on its pages clearer and informative:
- Enterprise plan display. The plan name shown on the Overview page now clearly indicates Enterprise.
- Monthly commitment display. If you have the monthly commitment plan, the commitment amount is now displayed on the Plan details page along with the rest of the plan information.
Device Intelligence
Changes to IP address analysis logic
IP address analysis data now always works in pairs with Device Intelligence. You automatically get the following data:
- IP-based information like geolocation and VPN/proxy/TOR usage
- IP risk level — across verification, transactional, and behavioral monitoring
Device Intelligence has become a full device-based risk analysis and identification solution, while the IP address analysis is now a lite version of Device Intelligence — more affordable and simpler, for limited scenarios only, and does not require JS SDK integration.
Identify anomalous device behavior with Device Intelligence ->Non-Doc Verification

Each setting includes a brief description, along with links to relevant documentation and corresponding Dashboard pages.

Fireblocks integration
If you are a Fireblocks customer, you can now enable Sumsub’s Travel Rule and send Travel Rule data directly within the Fireblocks platform during your transactions.
How it works:

The current integration also supports outbound transaction flow.
How to enable:
- Contact Fireblocks Customer Success Manager to enable TRLink.
- Ensure you have a direct contract with Sumsub (same requirement as for a standard Sumsub direct integration).
- Use the Sumsub Dashboard to link your Fireblocks workspace and configure encryption keys for secure Travel Rule data exchange.

New Get ID Verification Results API method
We have introduced the new Get ID Verification Results API method to retrieve all document data of an applicant who has successfully passed document verification with a single request, regardless of the verification level.
If the applicant is in Rejected or Resubmission requested status, the request returns an error.
