# Generate WebSDK verification links

Share a direct verification link with your applicants.

[WebSDK permalinks](https://docs.sumsub.com/sumsub/docs/use-permalinks) help applicants pass verification via a direct link to the [WebSDK](https://docs.sumsub.com/sumsub/docs/web-sdk).

# Generate WebSDK permalink

To share a permalink with an applicant manually or via email:

1. In the Dashboard, go to the [Applicants](https://cockpit.sumsub.com/checkus#/applicants/individual?limit=10\&page=0) page and open an applicant profile.
2. In the top menu, select **Generate WebSDK applicant link**.
   1. To send the link via email, enter the applicant’s email address and select **Send**.
   2. To share the link with an applicant manually, click the **Copy** button.

You can also send verification links via email while [changing the verification level](https://docs.sumsub.com/sumsub/docs/change-verification-level) in the applicant’s profile.

  ### Note

  - The lifetime of a permalink is 7 days.
  - If the applicant already has an associated email address, it will be suggested automatically for sending.
  - If no email address is available, the email address you enter will be saved in the applicant’s profile
