Applicant risk score
Use separate tags for more granular risk scoring.
To provide you with the most detailed information about the risks posed by a specific applicant, in addition to the general risk score value applied to a transaction, we offer an option to separate factors (risk coordinates) into various categories like Finance, Onboarding, Gambling, AML, Account activity, and so on, and use these categories for applicant scoring.
Such a breakdown will help you increase scoring efficiency, enhance security, and make more informed decisions.
How it works
Each risk factor or coordinate has a dedicated KYT tag. Each tag in turn is either used to score an applicant or to provide additional information, such as the risk level.
You can create as many tags as you want. You can also associate several tags with one rule and get a separate risk score for each when the rule is matched.
Set up risk scoring
To set up applicant risk scoring, you need at least one rule and a KYT tag:
- In the Dashboard, go to the Tags page and click Add tag.
- Enter the tag name, select the bar color, and decide if the tag will be used for scoring or to provide additional information.
- Click Save.
- Create a rule and in the Rule Actions section, select Add tags to transaction. Then, pick the needed tag and specify the score.
Now, if the rule is matched, the applicant score for the associated tags will change accordingly.
Review results
Risk scoring results are displayed in the Assessment section of the applicant profile. There you can see all the tags associated with the profile and the score for each tag.
